Lead and grow the pre-sales team in Italy (Solutions Architects/Engineers)
Partner with sales to drive revenue through value-based approaches
Improve ROI of solutions architects' involvement in sales cycles
Engage with customer executives to fortify strategic partnerships
Align with partners and internal services on implementation strategies
Strengthen Databricks' brand as part of the regional Leadership Team with Marketing and Sales across the region
Experience managing a team of Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals
Experience in consumption-based business environments
Mentoring and scaling technical teams
Proven ability to establish processes for technical field members to improve efficiency and product focus
Ability to collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders
Passion for data and AI and ability to articulate value of Databricks solutions
Technical or consulting background in Data Engineering, Database technologies, or Data Science
Italian native speaker and fluent in English
