ppbLocation: /b Milan, Italy (with travel to Mozambique) /ppbContract Type: /b Annually Renewable Contract /ppbTarget Start Date: /b October 2026 /ph3About the Role /h3pWe are seeking an experienced Production Subsea Inlet Day Superintendent to join the Operations team. You will lead and manage Subsea and Inlet production activities within the LNG plant, ensuring safe, compliant, and optimized operations to deliver on-specification LNG in line with production targets and shipping schedules. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliEnsure the safety of personnel, environmental protection, and the technical integrity of Subsea and Inlet equipment; implement HSE rules and procedures. /liliProvide day-to-day Production Methods support to Shift teams: troubleshooting of process upsets, technical analyses, corrective actions, and lessons learned. /liliGuide and participate in plant optimization activities and in the development and evaluation of modification proposals with Technical Support (Process). /liliDevelop, review, and update Operating Procedures and Guidelines; manage isolation and spading plans, LO/LC registers, and operator rounds. /liliCoordinate and prioritize planned Subsea and Inlet work with the Maintenance Inspection department, from weekly planning through to major shutdowns. /liliOrganize permit meetings and control the opening of PTWs for critical jobs; carry out regular safety and plant integrity audits. /liliParticipate in HAZOPs, technical reviews, risk assessments, safety audits, RCAs,
and incident analyses; formally record downgraded situations. /liliProvide coverage for the Shift Production Superintendent during absences and support during plant upsets and emergencies. /liliKeep records of Subsea and Inlet activities, verify Shift team logs, and prepare reports on plant trips, abnormal operations, and incidents. /liliDevelop the production team, with a strong focus on National staff: training plans, annual objectives, and end-of-year appraisals. /li /ulh3Qualifications Experience /h3ulliBachelor's degree or higher in Applied Science or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent international standard). /liliMinimum 20 years of production experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry. /liliMinimum 10 years in senior production positions. /liliMinimum 10 years in LNG Subsea operations and gas treatment. /liliExcellent leadership and team development skills. /liliExcellent command of written and spoken English. /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliExcellent knowledge of oil gas / LNG production processes and methods. /liliExcellent knowledge of natural gas treatment and Subsea operations. /liliStrong ability to troubleshoot process problems and upsets. /liliExcellent knowledge of HSE and Environmental Management Systems (including ISO 14001). /liliExcellent knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems in the Oil Gas industry. /liliHigh knowledge of Emergency Response systems and experience handling plant emergencies. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
