They work closely with Risk and Compliance to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they're running efficiently. /p pWe're looking for a motivated Internal Auditor who specialises in financial crime to support regulatory audits. You'll be executing internal audits and adapting your skills to auditing new subject matter. /p h3What you'll be doing /h3 ul liDeveloping and executing audit programmes under internal policies, regulatory requirements,
and professional standards /li liOptimising data usage in the audit process to enhance risk understanding and deliver pertinent insights /li liProviding input and assisting in identifying relevant risks and regulatory requirements for audit scopes /li liInteracting with staff to obtain a comprehensive understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processes /li liCommunicating and discussing findings directly with business unit management /liliDeveloping audit reports that identify deficiencies and root causes while providing recommendations that add value /li liConducting research and completing assigned training requirements to maintain professional relevance /li liPartnering with business units to develop recommendations for process optimisation, internal control, and compliance /li liPerforming follow-up reviews of deficiencies noted during previous audits /li liMonitoring audit progress against timelines and managing xysqume projects to completion, escalating where required /li /ul h3What you'll need /h3 ul li3+ years of experience in an audit-related role within a regulated financial services environment /li liComprehensive knowledge of the current regulatory environment, including EU money laundering directives, JMLSG, and FATF guidance /li liFamiliarity with financial crime controls, such as KYC/KYB, due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening /li liMotivation to learn, grow, and have an immediate impact as part of an expanding team /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution /li liAn undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative discipline /li liProficiency working with and interpreting data using SQL, SAS, or Python /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
