ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bConstruction Safety Engineer /b to join its office in Rozzano, Genoa or Rome, Italy within the bCivil Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe role is focuses on ensuring the safety of construction operations in the infrastructure environment. (e.g. the construction site’s safety processes and procedures, equipment, workers, ecc...) under the coordination of Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liAssist in the identification, assessment and mitigatation of safety construction risks, ensuring that all projects comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards /li liConduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and unsafe conditions. Collaborate to the development and implementation of corrective actions as needed, to assure compliance with safety and health program requirements; prepare technical reports of inspection findings /li liAssist in the development of project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statement /li liReview construction plans to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations /li liAssist in organizing and conducting safety training sessions for construction site personnel /li liAssist in developing and implementing emergency response plans for construction sites /li liAssist in performing and verification of risk assessments for various construction activities and propose control measures to mitigate potential risks /li liParticipate in incident investigations to determine the root cause of accidents and near misses /li liProvide recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
/li liProvide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements /li liBe able to team-work and assist engineers or engineering teams on construction sites /li liDevelop project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of more experienced engineers /li liPrepare the technical deliverables (technical reports, Health Safety Plan, Safety and Coordination Plan, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.) /li liPrepare progress technical reports /li liBe aware and understand the Quality Policy and ensuring that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience: +3 years of previous experience in similar role. /li liHigh School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction and Environment is required. /li liKnowledge of Safety Regulations and Standards: ul liUnderstanding of relevant safety regulations and industry standards pertaining to construction projects. /li liAbility to identify, assess, and mitigate safety construction risks to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. /li /ul /li liSite Inspection and Reporting Skills: ul liExperience in conducting regular site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and conditions. /li liProficiency in preparing technical reports of inspection findings and collaborating on corrective action implementation. /li /ul /li liSafety Planning and Documentation: ul liCapability to assist in the development of project-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements. /li liSkill in reviewing construction plans to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. /li /ul /li liTraininig: Safety Construction Coordinator 120 hours CSP/CSE DLgs 81/08. /li liLanguages:

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€33,000 and €45,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
