MissionThe Software engineer, reporting to the Team Leader, will be responsible for designing and implementing the software for managing our devices, implementing User Interfaces and managing the data flow.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing software and system requirementsParticipating in brain storming sessions for defining solutions to specific problemsDefining and implementing algorithms processing images and point cloudsDefining and implementing and training neural network for classification, detection and segmentationLiaising with internal and external customers at technical level to define interfaces and detail requirementsImplementing software solutions according to software specification and quality requirementsSupporting testing activitiesComplying with corporate rules ad practices for software developmentEstimating implementation effort for given tasksCooperating with colleagues to define common solutionsPropose actively improvements to software products and proceduresInterface and cooperate with other company departmentsTechnical Skills, Qualifications and Professional ExperienceDegree in Engineering/Computer Science or similar3 years of experience in similar roles; Knowledge of C#/C++ (knowledge of C, Java,
Javascript is considered a plus); Experience in multithreadingExperience in image and/or 3D data processingKnowledge of computer vision algorithimExperience in using deep learning techniques for classification/detection/segmentation of images is considered a strong plusKnowledge of Tensorflow/Keras or Pytorch is considered a strong plusKnowledge of OpenCV or Halcon is a strong plusGood communication skills in written and spoken Italian (at least B2)Good knowledge of written and spoken English is essentialCCNL: MetalmeccanicoContract type: Tempo pieno, Permanent ContractGross Annual Salary (RAL): 35.000€
