You will serve as a Interdisciplinary Environmental Engineer Physical Scientist in the Department of the Navy of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE, Italy.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1. Implementing environmental program requirements, to meet environmental regulatory requirements and meet mission objectives.
2. Interpreting environmental laws, regulations, and policy to provide technical and professional guidance.
3. Partnering and working with a diverse group of environmental professionals to meet program requirements and deadlines.
4. Understanding the organization's financial processes/systems in regard to planning, programming, budgeting and execution of the environmental program

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Training Requirements: Must be able to successfully complete the following training course within prescribed timeframe:

- 29 CFR OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HOUR TRAINING
