Overview In this role you will manage strategic, high-impact relationships with international merchants from diverse industries. You'll drive payments insights and growth opportunities while coordinating cross-functional teams across time zones. You'll act as a trusted partner, translating data into compelling stories and guiding customers through complex decisions. Build strong customer relationships and navigate client organizations across internal and external stakeholders
Drive commercial discussions and help customers meet strategic/financial targets
Provide strategic payments guidance and position Adyen as a trusted partner using data-driven storytelling
Prioritize and execute short- and long-term projects across multiple accounts
Serve as voice of the customer internally and feed back insights to teams
4+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or complex software/financial services with a payments background preferred
~ Strong ability to engage at all management levels
~ Experience leading strategic payments conversations and coordinating high-level technical discussions
~ Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into client goals
~ Proficiency in Italian and English
~ Experience in fintech or payments company is highly preferred
~ Based in Milan with hybrid workplace (not remote-only)
