Join Our Team as Chef de Cuisine / Chef de Partie (depending on experience and trial) at Sando Bern (japanese inspired burger joint with shops in Geneva, Zürich, Lucerne, Basel &, now Bern) ABOUT US Sando Burger is a modern Japanese-inspired burger concept focused on premium ingredients, operational excellence, speed of service, and an outstanding customer experience. Our Bern location is primarily focused on take-away, delivery, and click &, collect, with a strong emphasis on consistency, food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team collaboration. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on kitchen professional who can either join as a Chef de Partie or, depending on experience and performance during the trial period, take on the role of Chef de Cuisine.
POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared according to company standards while maintaining the highest levels of quality, cleanliness, food safety, and operational efficiency.




Depending on experience and demonstrated leadership skills, the role may evolve into a Chef de Cuisine position with full responsibility for the kitchen team, purchasing, food cost management, and operational performance. RESPONSIBILITIESFood Preparation &, Service - Prepare burgers, sides, sauces, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards. - Ensure excellent product consistency and presentation. - Maintain high standards of food quality throughout service. - Organize mise en place and production planning. - Ensure fast, efficient, and accurate order execution during peak periods. - Monitor stock rotation and product freshness.
Kitchen Operations - Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. - Ensure compliance with all hygiene and food safety regulations. - Participate in inventory counts and stock management. - Minimize food waste and control food costs. - Ensure proper storage and ha
