A leading engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join a permanent Data Centre project in Milan, Italy.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering activities from design development through construction, commissioning and handover.
- Review electrical designs, specifications and calculations, identifying design gaps, discrepancies and technical issues.
- Coordinate electrical design with BIM and construction teams to ensure solutions are practical and fully buildable.
- Manage technical submittals, equipment approvals, procurement and supplier coordination.
- Monitor electrical installation progress and complete system walkdowns to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate specialist electrical vendors throughout testing and commissioning.
- Prepare and review test packs, FTOPs and O&M; documentation for final handover.
- Provide technical support to site teams and work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Support pre-construction, design management, project reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' electrical project engineering experience, preferably within Data Centre or complex construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems.
- Previous experience delivering Data Centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical regulations and international standards.
