IT HELP DESK JUNIOR

We are looking for a Junior IT Help Desk to join our IT team in a school environment, supporting students, teachers and staff in their day-to-day use of technology.
This is a hands-on, user-facing role where technical knowledge is important, but attitude and interpersonal skills are equally essential.
The ideal candidate is naturally helpful, patient and approachable, enjoys solving problems for others and is comfortable interacting with people with different levels of technical knowledge.
The role is designed for someone who is willing to learn and develop their technical skills on the job , working closely with the IT team and progressively taking on more responsibilities.
Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks
IT SUPPORT
- Provide first-level IT support to students, teachers and staff, both remotely and in person.
- Receive, assess and resolve basic IT requests, escalating more complex issues when necessary.
- Support users with hardware, software, connectivity and access-related issues.
- Set up and configure IT devices according to company standards.
- Manage and update support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Assist with hardware and software inventory and general IT administration.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of school IT equipment, including printers, projectors, TVs and other classroom devices.
- Assist the IT team with day-to-day activities, projects and other tasks where support is required.
- Follow IT security and data protection guidelines and contribute to maintaining a safe and reliable IT environment.
MULTIMEDIA & AV SUPPORT
- Provide basic technical support for classroom, meeting and school event equipment.
- Assist users with projectors, screens, audio equipment, TVs and other multimedia devices.
- Support the IT team with the setup and management of technical equipment for events and meetings.
