Appliance Repair and Maintenance Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of household appliances, including U.S. and European models.
- Conduct safety tests and perform repairs according to DIN EN 50678 and DIN EN 50699 standards.
- Maintain appliance functionality by following manufacturer’s guidelines and Host Nation regulations.
- Document service reports, work orders, and official correspondence in English.
- Provide regular training to new employees on appliance repair techniques and standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations while performing repairs on gas, water, and electrical utility lines.
- Manage inventory of tools and materials needed for appliance repairs.

Requirements:

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in appliance repair and maintenance.




- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical trades, such as electrician or refrigeration engineer.
- Must speak and write the English language well enough to communicate on complex matters.
- Knowledge of U.S. and European household appliances.
- Familiarity with Host Nation and U.S. Government safety regulations and standards.
- Valid certification as an electrical engineering technician or equivalent.
- Physically capable of handling repair tasks.

Working Hours:

- Monday to Friday
- Service hours:
08:00 – 16:30 (with flexibility for emergency repairs outside of these hours)
