pFor an strongimportant international Cybersecurity project /strong, we are looking for a strongCybersecurity Specialist / Application Security Engineer – Akamai WAF /strong with solid experience in web application security and hands-on expertise in the management and configuration of strongAkamai Web Application Firewall /strong solutions. /ppbr / /ppThe role will be performed in a strongfull remote /strong working model and will involve close collaboration with international technical and security teams. /ppA good command of strongEnglish is mandatory /strong, as the resource will operate on a daily basis in an international environment. /ppbr / /ppMain Responsibilities /pulliManagement and configuration of strongAkamai Web Application Firewall (WAF) /strong solutions. /liliDefinition, implementation and tuning of security policies. /liliAnalysis and management of false positives, anomalies and security events. /liliProtection of web applications and APIs from common cyber threats. /liliMonitoring and troubleshooting of WAF-related issues. /liliSupport in the analysis of web vulnerabilities and application security risks. /liliCollaboration with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Development and Application teams. /liliSupport in the management of security rules, signatures and protection mechanisms. /liliContribution to the continuous improvement of web application security controls.
