ppTailorFox – your HR Business Partner, on behalf of a leading bmultinational services company /b, with a strong bpeople-centric culture /b and a bsolid commitment to quality, and improvement /b, is looking to strengthen its Operations Area by recruiting an: /p h3OPERATIONS AREA DIRECTOR /h3 pThis profile will be accountable for the overall performance of a large, complex operational site in a fast-paced, time-critical environment. /p pThe role ensures safe, efficient, high-quality end-to-end service delivery while leading the site through a significant transformation across strategy, organisation, people, processes, operating methods, and performance control systems. /p pThe position combines a strong bsense of urgency and hands-on operational leadership /b with a bmedium- to long-term strategic vision /b, ensuring immediate operational stability while building sustainable, structured, and scalable solutions. /p pThe role carries full responsibility for boperational excellence, financial sustainability, people leadership, regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, and customer satisfaction /b, in line with corporate standards, client requirements, and applicable local and international regulations. /p pThe position oversees all activities related to production, warehousing and operations, internal logistics, and last-mile service delivery to external interfaces, with a workforce of approximately 300 employees. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 h31. Overall Site Leadership /h3 ul liHold full accountability for the end-to-end management of the site, including production, operational logistics, transport services, and support functions. /li liEnsure operational continuity, safety, quality, and on-time service delivery in a high-pressure, fast-moving operating environment. /li liAct as the senior company representative towards clients, regulatory bodies, and local stakeholders. /li liEnsure site operations are consistently aligned with corporate standards, contractual commitments, and customer expectations. /li /ul h32. Financial Governance, Investments Performance /h3 ul liOwn the site Profit Loss and ensure long-term economic sustainability. /li liPrepare and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts in coordination with Headquarters. /li liDefine, prioritize, and manage site investment plans (CAPEX), ensuring alignment with operational needs, safety requirements, and return on investment. /li liMonitor costs, productivity, service performance, and margins. /li liIdentify risks and drive corrective actions and cost-optimization initiatives without compromising quality, safety, or compliance. /li /ul h33.



Operations Management Decision Making /h3 ul liDefine the operational organization model and production plans to meet demand, service levels, and efficiency targets. /li liLead and supervise site functional managers (e.g. Production, Quality, Transport, Maintenance, Logistics). /li liEnsure consistent application of operational procedures, technical standards, and regulatory requirements. /li liManage critical situations, disruptions, and operational emergencies with speed, clarity, and authority. /li liTake btimely and well-balanced decisions /b, including bdifficult and high-impact choices /b, in conditions of uncertainty and operational pressure. /li liEvaluate and govern bmake-or-buy decisions /b related to production, logistics, and support activities, balancing cost efficiency, service quality, flexibility, and operational risk. /li /ul h34. Workforce Planning People Leadership /h3 ul liDefine and continuously review workforce planning in line with demand variability, productivity targets, and service requirements. /li liEnsure optimal staffing models, shift structures, and skill mix to support operational performance and cost control. /li liDirectly manage the site leadership team and provide clear direction, priorities, and objectives. /li liSet individual and functional goals aligned with business strategy and operational KPIs. /li liDrive performance management, talent development, and succession planning. /li liPromote a strong safety culture, accountability, and alignment with company values. /li /ul h35. Change Management Transformation /h3 ul liLead and govern complex change initiatives affecting organization design, operating models, processes, tools, methods, and control systems. /li liTranslate strategic direction into pragmatic and executable operational actions. /li liBalance immediate operational fixes with the implementation of structured, long-term solutions. /li liAct as a visible and credible change leader, engaging managers and employees through clarity, consistency, and discipline. /li /ul h36. Quality, Safety, Compliance Ethics /h3 ul liEnsure full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Security standards.



/li liPartner with Quality and Compliance functions for internal and external audits. /li liEnsure timely and effective management of non-conformities, incidents, and corrective actions. /li liMaintain robust governance over risk management and regulatory adherence. /li liUphold the highest standards of bethical conduct, integrity, and transparency /b, setting the tone from the top. /li /ul h37. Continuous Improvement Innovation /h3 ul liChampion continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, reliability, and service quality. /li liCollaborate with Innovation and Continuous Improvement teams to implement new processes, tools, and technologies. /li liSupport digitalization, automation, and standardization initiatives across the site. /li liFoster a culture of operational discipline, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. /li /ul h38. Interface with Headquarters /h3 ul liEnsure alignment of site operations with corporate strategy, policies, and governance frameworks. /li liProvide structured and accurate reporting on operational, financial, workforce, and investment performance. /li liActively contribute to cross-functional and transversal corporate projects. /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liStrong and credible leadership in complex, fast-paced, labour-intensive operational environments. /li liAbility to combine bsense of urgency /b with bstrategic thinking /b and structured execution. /li liEnd-to-end operational mindset combined with solid financial and investment acumen. /li liDecisive, resilient, and accountable decision-maker, comfortable with ambiguity and pressure. /li liProven change leadership and transformation capability. /li liExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. /li liStrong ethical compass, integrity, and role-model behavior. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity degree (bEngineering, Economics, or equivalent – preferred /b). /li lib5–8 years of experience /b in Senior Site, Plant, or Operations Management role, with full responsibility for operational performance and team leadership. /li liExperience in blarge-scale, industrial or food production environments /b is highly desirable. /li liStrong exposure to regulated, safety-critical, and time-sensitive operations. /li liFluency in English. /li /ul h3Place of work: /h3 pbRome (Italy). /b /p h3Compensation: /h3 pThe position will be offered with an bexecutive-level employment contract /b, with a competitive bannual gross salary /b in the range of b€100,000–€110,000 /b, plus a b20% performance-based premio /b and bcompany car /b. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
