Job DescriptionThis position will lead the Global Indirect Materials Purchasing Team. As a head of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success through defining the global purchasing strategy and leading the cooperation with all Datalogic’s functions. This position will be based at Monte San Pietro (BO).Role MisisonSets strategy for indirect procurement. Leads the team to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the purchasing process within the organization, through the design and respect of functional budget and the adoption of state of the art purchasing policies.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains an in-depth knowledge of the market to propose direction to internal stakeholders and highlight supply risks.Designs and improves the policies and procedures of the purchasing processes.Aligns, communicates and deploys strategy, policies and procedures for indirect procurement with internal stakeholders.Foresees ongoing demand for goods and services and proposes purchase sources.Manages relationship with internal strategic stakeholders to ensure proactive involvement in their purchases.Supports business owners in managing relationships with external stakeholders to ensure the procurement process runs smoothly.Leads, motivates and supports the development of global indirect purchasing team.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or other related fields.Languages: Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal communication.Experience:
