ppSodecia is looking for a bCommodity Buyer /b to join our Global Purchasing team and manage the sourcing of bsurface treatment, chemical, and external processing commodities /b across our international operations. /p pIn this role, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost competitiveness, and supporting new project launches while ensuring quality, delivery, and operational excellence. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management. /li liDevelop and execute commodity strategies for coatings, heat treatment, welding, chemicals, and external services. /li liSupport project launches by ensuring supplier readiness, capacity, timing, and cost targets. /li liConduct market analysis, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives. /li liCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Project teams to drive sourcing decisions. /li liManage supplier performance, development, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives. /li liSupport APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality requirements. /li liEnsure compliance with Sodecia's sourcing procedures and governance processes. /li liMaintain purchasing data and supplier information within ERP and procurement platforms. /li /ul h3Commodity Scope /h3 ul liE-Coating (Cathodic E-Coat) /li liPowder, Liquid and Epoxy Painting /li liZinc Plating,
