Technical Agronomy Advisor (Grapes and fruit orchards, Apples, cherries, tomatoes and maize) - Northern Italy - €26,400 - €34,800
The Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Agronomy Advisor to join a growing international agribusiness, supporting farmers and distributors across Northern Italy. This is a field-based role focused on agronomic advice, farmer engagement, technical support and market development for an innovative biostimulant product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with farmers and agricultural distributors across the region
- Provide practical agronomic advice, with a particular focus on grapes and fruit orchards
- Support growers in integrating biostimulants into existing crop programmes
- Organise farmer demonstration days and support on-farm trials
- Work closely with distributors on customer visits, technical training and market development
- Attend agricultural events and develop a strong local network
- Monitor trial results, farmer feedback and market developments
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on market activity
The Company:
An innovative international agribusiness combining sustainable agriculture with marine restoration. The business develops evidence-based biostimulant products designed to improve crop resilience, soil health and agricultural sustainability, with operations and customers across multiple international markets.
The Candidate:
- Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or a related discipline
- 0–4 years' experience within agronomy, agriculture or technical sales
- Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, crop production and biostimulant use
- Experience with grapes and fruit orchards is essential
- Experience with apples, cherries, tomatoes or maize would be advantageous
- Confident communicating technical information to farmers and distributors
- Relationship-focused, practical and comfortable working independently
- Fluent English plus relevant Italian language skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to spend 50–60% of time travelling

- Salary €26,400 - €34,800 DOE

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
