We accelerate the quantum era with a platform that transforms bold quantum ideas into working applications. /ppbr / /ppstrongQuantum Application Engineer /strong /ppbr / /ppClassiq is expanding its presence in Italy bystrong building a new quantum computing center, /strong and we're looking for our first on-site hire to lead its day-to-day operations. You'll be the local technical and operational face of the platform for the center's users, running onboarding, training, and support. /ppbr / /ppThis is a hybrid technical customer support profile, including technical presales, training, customer support, implementation, and research. You'll join as an early, founding member of a new site, with real autonomy to shape how it runs. /ppbr / /ppstrongWhat You'll Do /strong /ppbr / /pulliServe as the on-the-ground technical point of contact for the center's platform users. /liliDeliver hands-on onboarding and training on the Classiq platform for researchers,
engineers, and end users in Italian. /liliProvide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for platform users. /liliImplement quantum applications hand in hand with the local enterprise customers. /liliOwn day-to-day center operations: user and license management, hardware/resource access allocation, etc. /liliBuild strong working relationships with the partner's team - surfacing risks and requirements, and feeding field insights back to Classiq. /liliRepresent the center for visiting customers and partners (demos, walkthroughs) - customer-facing. /liliAs an early hire, help stand up center readiness -space, equipment, and workflows as the team grows /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongWho You Are /strong /ppbr / /pulliAdvanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering, with a strong academic or practical focus on quantum computing or quantum information. /liliPrior experience in technical customer support, training delivery, or platform/site operations. /liliComfortable learning and explaining complex technical concepts to non-expert audiences. /liliDemonstrated independence and initiative, a proven track record of owning a project, site, or function. /liliFluent/native Italian; br / strong enough English to collaborate with a global team. /liliBased in or willing to relocate to Naples. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongBonus Points /strong /ppbr / /pulliExposure to Python or scientific/technical computing. /liliExperience with HPC, lab, or specialized hardware environments. /liliExperience opening or standing up a technical site/office as an early team member. /li /ulpbr / /ppClassiq is committed to employment equity and building a diverse workforce.
