Join Hitachi Rail in Naples as a Vehicle Integration Engineer to drive electrical and TCMS architecture work and support vehicle testing in a fast-paced, international setting. You will shape vehicle functionality from design through validation, collaborating across disciplines to deliver integrated railway solutions. This role offers the opportunity to impact system architecture and performance in a cutting-edge digital transformation environment.

Responsabilità

- Define High, Medium and Low voltage electrical architecture documents
- Define TCMS vehicle architecture
- Define traction characteristics and develop driving simulations
- Develop Functional Specifications for the functional integration of the vehicle
- Prepare vehicle test specifications
- Support performance and functional tests of the vehicle

Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience in the railway industry with the role of Train Systems Engineer preferred
- RAMS concepts knowledge (advantage)




- Knowledge of onboard railway systems regulations
- Proficiency with office tools (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of electrotechnical, electronic, system engineering processes and railway regulations
- Experience with design and integration of subsystems across lifecycle of railway vehicle platforms
- Knowledge of CAD/design software recommended (Autocad, Creo, Catia)
- Knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool xkiyazw
- Understanding of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, international environment
- Willingness to travel for short-term national and international trips
