Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career developmentInnovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functionsProactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrencesProvide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standardsDevelop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organizationSupport the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standardsCollaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materialsDesign ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well‑beingQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field7–10 years of experience in HSE, EHS, or safety management within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment3–5 years of experience leading HSE teams or programsProven experience managing site‑level or multi‑site HSE operationsExperience working in regulated environments with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirementsCommunication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders.
