ph3Job Description /h3 h3Title: Senior Construction Manager – Data Center (M/F/X) /h3 pLocation : Abbiategrasso /p pSalary Range : 85-100k euros /p h3Your Role /h3 pAs a bCampus Construction Manager /b at bDigital Realty /b, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of data center construction projects—from new builds to fit-outs and upgrades. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are successfully delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of data center construction principles and best practices, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position will also contribute to continuously improving the design, scope definition, and execution of our construction programs. The role is fully site-based, ensuring strong project governance and clear roles/responsibilities across any consultant support. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage multiple data center campus construction projects end-to-end (design, tendering, construction, commissioning/hand-over, etc.) /li liOversee and monitor on-site works and progress /li liCommunicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders /li liLead and manage project teams /li liManage contracts and procurement follow-up (including major equipment) /li liAct as the owner of quality, schedule, cost, HSE (Health, Safety Environment), and overall project delivery /li liManage and supervise contractors and service providers, providing guidance and support /li liIdentify cost-saving opportunities and proactively flag project savings/overruns to protect target values and ensure predictable capacity delivery to the business /li liPromote and role-model a culture of continuous improvement, partnership,

This includes implementing digital solutions to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and support collaborative planning efforts. The manager works closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent practices and effective communication, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. They are expected to lead process improvement initiatives, monitor key performance indicators, and adapt strategies to meet evolving project demands. The role also involves championing new technologies, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and ensuring that all projects adhere to organizational standards and timelines. /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred) - 7-10 years of progressive management experience in design and construction, ideally with data centers or similar environments - Experience managing multi-country projects and delivering large developments - Proven expertise in construction project management, including digital tools, risk management, automation, and operational optimization - Familiarity with schedule governance, collaborative planning, and workflow optimization - Experience in continuous process improvement and managing KPIs/metrics - Strong understanding of change/gating processes in owner-operator development organizations /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
