Within the Automation business area, we are looking for a Service Manager for our Genoa office. As the IPT Leader for the assistance and maintenance contract, the Service Manager:
- is involved in the commercial initiative, helping to analyze the sustainability of commitments and to evaluate the risk level of the service contract already at the proposal stage, - interfaces with the end customer for the management of contractual warranty and post-warranty commitments, in close coordination with the other company functions involved (proposal & sales, supply project manager, after-sales assistance), - defines and keeps updated the program of the project/service initiative assigned to him/her, - takes charge of and administers the budget of the initiative throughout the entire life cycle of the contract, - negotiates commitments and plans resources together with the representatives of the technical functions involved,
- monitors progress and measures the quality of the results of the individual work packages assigned, in close coordination with the technical representatives, also activating sub-supplies of outsourced products/services where necessary for the completion of the initiative, - periodically reports the main progress data of the contract to the operational planning function, updating the forecast to completion and highlighting possible emerging criticalities, - interfaces with accounting, providing timely evidence of the data necessary for the issuance and progress of invoices according to what is foreseen by the company and contract.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering Required experience level:
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience - Expert: 3 to 5 years of experience Technical/IT skills:
- Project management / coordination of work groups - Experience in maintenance engineering / spare parts logistics - Economic management of supply and/or maintenance contracts - Management of the contractual relationship with the end customer - Familiarity with working in multi-cultural and multi-lingual environments - Leadership skills - Negotiation skills - Project management (Gantt, OBS/WBS, progress reports, estimates/actuals) - Service management (SLA management, KPI, bonuses/penalties for maintenance services) - FMECA / RAMS analysis - Management of spare parts lists, warehouse management logics (stock levels, reorder lots, procurement lead times, etc.) - OEE analysis and continuous improvement - Measurement of customer satisfaction (CSAT, NPS, CES, …) - Knowledge of IT environments (operating systems, etc.) - MS Office applications (Word- Excel-Powerpoint) Behavioral skills:
- Leadership - Excellent communication skills,
