Senior Sustainable Operation Consultant - Environmental Due Diligence

Overview

As an EHS Consultant, you will lead environmental due diligences and compliance audits for pre-acquisition, merger, and divestiture projects. You will help identify liabilities, define corrective actions, and implement EHS management and training systems. You’ll work within the Consulting team to ensure regulatory alignment and high-quality risk assessments across Italy and abroad.

This role combines technical EHS expertise with stakeholder collaboration to deliver sustainable, compliant outcomes.

Responsabilità

- Conduct environmental due diligences and identify liabilities with corrective actions and cost implications
- Perform compliance audits against local laws, European standards, and internal clients
- Deliver EHS consulting services and develop integrated EHS management systems
- Develop and implement legal tracking systems and EHS training programs
- Support development and auditing of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate travel across Italy and abroad

Requisiti fondamentali

- Around 10 years of experience in EHS due diligences, compliance audits, and related consultancy
- Degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences
- Proficiency in English and Italian at B2 level
- Knowledge of Italian environmental and H&S; legislation
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment of Organizational Management systems (Lgs.D. 231/2001)
- Experience with auditing and implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Strong analytical and synthesis abilities
- Excellent relationship skills and teamwork attitude
- Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
