Overview

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will design, implement, and verify embedded software for GNSS receiver products. You will deliver high-performance C/C++ code and develop embedded Linux services, enabling reliable interfaces with hardware and networks. You will modernize legacy code, enhance modularity, and ensure robust integration with GNSS technologies and correction services.

You’ll work with global teams in a hybrid setup to drive scalable, high-quality firmware across platforms. This role lets you shape cutting-edge positioning solutions that empower construction, geomatics, and agriculture applications.

Responsabilità

- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware components for GNSS receiver products
- Develop reliable C/C++ software, including embedded Linux services, networking components, and hardware interfaces
- Modernize legacy code into modular, maintainable architectures
- Integrate firmware with hardware, operating systems, GNSS technologies,



and correction services (RTK, PPP, CSSR)
- Optimize performance, scalability, resource utilization, and reliability across hardware targets
- Debug complex software, system, and integration issues using advanced tools
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD workflows, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience
- Strong C/C++ and CMake expertise with modern C++ standards
- Solid experience with embedded Linux, system APIs, networking, multithreading, kernel interaction, and RTOS
- Experience with hardware/software integration, debugging, performance optimization, software architecture, and legacy code modernization
- Knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, and testing
- GNSS experience including RTK, PPP, or CSSR is highly desirable
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency and ability to work in international environments
