Overview

In this role you drive the end-to-end SMB (small and medium-sized business) relationship, protecting margins and growing revenue through structured servicing, retention, and cross-sell. You manage ~200 merchants in a high-volume book, collaborating with a cross-functional team to onboard, qualify leads, and move opportunities through a defined playbook. You influence merchant adoption on partner platforms and uphold disciplined pipeline hygiene. This position offers a chance to impact merchants’ ability to compete like larger players in a global payments ecosystem.

Responsabilità

- Acquire, manage, and deepen relationships with SMB merchants
- Prioritize tasks and adhere to policies and procedures
- Qualify partner-sourced and AI-qualified leads and prioritize outreach
- Present onboarding and value propositions to merchants on partner platforms
- Handle objections,



close opportunities, and smooth PayPal acceptance
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and next-step records; ensure complete context on handoffs to Account Management
- Engage with the team to propose solutions and improve efficiencies
- Contribute to solutions and drive process improvements

Requisiti fondamentali

- 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent lead qualification and questioning skills
- Clear, confident communicator able to articulate value and handle objections
- Strong pipeline hygiene and disciplined follow-up in a high-volume environment
- Ability to hand off relationships with complete context to Account Management
- Experience in sales, customer acquisition, or inside sales (preferred)
