Overview
Join Alstom's global mobility platform as a Testing Engineer focused on IXL/ETCS and system functionalities. You will define test plans, configure laboratories and on-site benches, and execute V&V; processes to validate software and data. You’ll produce test reports for acceptance milestones and support system commissioning and customer qualification. The role blends lab work with field activity to ensure reliable rail control solutions in a leading, innovation-driven environment.
Responsabilità
- Define and plan tests for IXL/ETCS/system functionalities
- Configure test tools and test benches for laboratory and on-site testing
- Conduct SW testing sessions in collaboration with lab and field testers
- Apply V&V; methods and change management per Alstom standards
- Execute tests and deliver test reports for acceptance phases
- Support Testing & Commissioning during system acceptance
- Assist customer acceptance with laboratory configuration and on-site support
Requisiti fondamentali
- University Engineering degree in Informatics, Electronics, Automation, IT, Telecom or equivalent
- Strong teamworking attitude
- Availability for weekly on-field activities in Italy
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Software development skill and attitude is a plus
