Work Model: Fully Onsite
Contract: 12 Months
Working Hours: 40 hours/week
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Onsite Support Services Engineer to provide hands‑on IT support to end users at the Carrier site in Legnago, Italy. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of IT support experience, with strong expertise in Service Desk, End User Services, Field Services, and Onsite IT Support.
The role requires excellent communication skills in English and native‑level Italian, along with a strong customer‑service mindset and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and workplace technology issues in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support to end users across the Carrier facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral‑related issues.
- Deliver Service Desk and End User Computing support.
- Perform desktop/laptop installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Support printers, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals,
and other IT equipment.
- Handle field service requests and provide hands‑on technical assistance.
- Log, update, track, and resolve incidents and service requests through the ITSM system.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams when required.
- Support user onboarding, device provisioning, and IT equipment replacement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, assets, and troubleshooting activities.
- Follow IT support processes, security policies, and service‑level requirements.
- Provide professional and timely support to users in both office and shopfloor environments.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
- Service Desk Support
- End User Services
- Field Services
- Onsite IT Support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience supporting Windows‑based desktop/laptop environments.
- Good understanding of IT hardware, peripherals, and workplace technologies.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Native Italian and strong English communication skills. xysqume
