Overview
As a Project Engineer in Wood’s Projects business line, you support the engineering coordination of complex plant projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. You work with cross-functional teams to prepare key documents, review technical content with clients, and provide on-site technical support during erection. The role emphasizes international mobility, collaboration with Wood Global Execution Center, and delivering safe, compliant solutions.
This is a platform to shape project execution and contribute to world-scale energy projects.

Responsabilità
- Prepare multidisciplinary documents coordinating multiple technical disciplines
- Support Senior Project Engineer or Engineering Manager in engineering coordination
- Attend client project reviews (P&ID;, HAZOP, 3D model reviews) and capture client comments
- Provide technical assistance on construction site during plant erection
- Coordinate with other project engineers (including Wood Global Execution Center in India)
- Prepare equipment, line, fluid, and tie-in lists
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with vendors
- Develop Hazardous Area Classification and Fire Hazardous Area analyses
- Contribute to project reviews with Client and field construction activities
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Energy Engineering
- 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role
- Self-motivated, proactive and good communication skills
- Ability to technically coordinate with other disciplines and lead medium/large engineering teams
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Availability to relocate abroad
- Experience with P&ID; development/mechanization/updating and basic design to construction workflow is desirable
- Construction site experience is desirable
- Knowledge of additional languages (French or German) is an advantage
