Overview In this procurement role, you will drive purchasing and logistics activities to support ABB's businesses, ensuring cost-effective, reliable supplier performance and sustainable practices. You will work within the Procurement function to implement standards, support local sourcing, and participate in training to strengthen compliance. You will engage with cross-functional teams to deliver targeted supplier outcomes and contribute to ABB's mission of running what runs the world.
This role blends strategic sourcing with hands-on execution in a hybrid work model.

Responsabilità
- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability
- Design and implement local sourcing plans aligned with business targets
- Support local sourcing initiatives to meet current and future requirements
- Apply procurement standards,
tools, and processes to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability
- Negotiate supplier agreements and periodically renew price lists and terms
- Recommend frame agreements to management and execute upon approval
- Deliver or participate in training to ensure compliance and professional development
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong knowledge of plastic and metal categories, supplier dynamics, sourcing strategies, and cost drivers
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Dynamic, proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Strong teamwork, prioritization, deadline management, and project execution abilities
