ppbData Centre Solutions Engineer - Electrical /b /p pbRole Summary /b /p pThe Data Centre Solutions Engineer is a key member of STACK's Solutions Engineering team, acting as the technical bridge between our hyperscale clients and the teams responsible for developing, designing and delivering their data centre capacity. /p pYou will translate complex client requirements into clear, practical engineering direction, helping shape resilient, scalable and energy-efficient critical power solutions. Working closely with Development, Design Engineering, Delivery and Operations, you will protect the agreed design intent while ensuring solutions remain aligned with STACK standards, capabilities and long-term operational requirements. /p pFrom early-stage design and Basis of Design development through construction, commissioning and operational readiness, you will influence major projects across EMEA and help deliver mission-critical infrastructure for some of the world's largest digital platforms. /p pbKey Responsibilities /b /p ul lipAct as a trusted Solutions Engineering partner to hyperscale and strategic clients, developing a clear understanding of their technical, operational and business requirements. /p /li lipTranslate client requirements into clear engineering briefs, design criteria and actionable inputs for STACK's Development, Design Engineering, Delivery and Operations teams. /p /li lipLead client and internal technical workshops, design intent sessions and engineering reviews, communicating complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. /p /li lipShape practical, scalable and resilient solutions that balance client requirements with STACK standards, programme requirements and long-term operational performance. /p /li lipProvide electrical engineering expertise across critical power infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, switchgear, transformers, STS/ATS, busbar systems, earthing and power monitoring. /p /li lipReview load analysis, protection coordination, arc flash studies, resilience strategies and electrical capacity assumptions to support safe, reliable and scalable solutions. /p /li lipSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), energisation planning, commissioning and Integrated Systems Testing (IST). /p /li lipProvide technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage design and Basis of Design development through construction, commissioning and operational readiness. /p /li lipAct as the technical authority for Electrical Engineering while maintaining sufficient knowledge of Mechanical, CSA, Controls (BMS/EPMS), Fire Protection, Security and ICT systems to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary engineering solutions. /p /li lipUnderstand and review engineering interfaces between building systems to identify technical risks,
coordination issues and opportunities for optimisation. /p /li lipChallenge engineering proposals considering their impact on overall facility performance, constructability, operability and maintainability. /p /li lipCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure fully integrated technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle. /p /li lipReview design documentation, specifications, calculations, technical submissions and proposed deviations to confirm alignment with client requirements and agreed design intent. /p /li lipIdentify technical risks, requirements gaps and interface issues early, providing clear recommendations and supporting engineering change control and impact assessments. /p /li lipSupport project teams during design and delivery by resolving technical queries and maintaining client requirements and technical compliance through execution. /p /li lipCoordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal disciplines to support integrated, buildable and operationally effective solutions. /p /li lipSupport testing, commissioning and handover activities, helping confirm that delivered systems meet client requirements and agreed performance criteria. /p /li lipPrepare clear technical assessments, gap analyses, design review summaries and recommendations for clients, project teams and senior stakeholders. /p /li lipContribute client feedback and lessons learned to the continuous improvement of STACK reference designs, engineering standards and client-focused solutions. /p /li lipRepresent STACK professionally at client meetings, project sites and technical reviews across EMEA, with travel of up to 25% as required. /p /li /ul pbWhat You'll Bring /b /p ul lipStrong electrical engineering experience within hyperscale data centres, mission-critical facilities or another technically complex infrastructure environment. /p /li lipIn-depth knowledge of critical power systems, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, earthing and electrical monitoring. /p /li lipExperience supporting data centre design and delivery through design development, construction, commissioning and operational handover, ideally across RIBA Stages 2-5 or an equivalent project lifecycle. /p /li lipExperience reviewing Basis of Design documentation, technical specifications, calculations, design submissions and engineering changes.
/p /li lipGood understanding of resilience and availability strategies, including N+1, 2N, fault tolerance, concurrent maintainability, capacity planning and scalability. /p /li lipExperience of FAT, SAT, commissioning, IST and technical acceptance activities is highly desirable. /p /li lipStrong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to lead workshops, challenge constructively and explain complex engineering decisions clearly. /p /li lipSound technical judgement, analytical capability and a structured approach to risk identification and problem-solving. /p /li lipAbility to collaborate across Development, Design Engineering, Delivery and Operations while maintaining clear ownership of client technical requirements. /p /li lipDegree, HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience. /p /li lipAbility to evaluate engineering decisions considering their impact on adjacent disciplines, operational resilience, maintainability and long-term asset performance. /p /li lipUnderstanding of integrated data centre systems and the interaction between electrical, mechanical and control systems throughout design, commissioning and operations. /p /li lipProfessional accreditation or chartership is desirable. /p /li lipStrong written and verbal English language skills; experience working across European markets is advantageous. /p /li /ul pbCosa offriamo / What we Offer /b /p ul lipFascia Retributiva (RAL): 65.000 € - 90.000 € + premio di risultato. /p /li lipContratto CCNL Commercio (Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi). /p /li lipBuoni pasto e piano welfare. /p /li lipAssistenza sanitaria e accesso al fondo pensione complementare, secondo quanto previsto dal CCNL /p /li lipContribuirai allo sviluppo e alla gestione di infrastrutture digitali mission-critical, operando in alcuni degli ambienti data centre più avanzati d'Europa. /p /li lipCresci con STACK, acquisendo esperienza su progetti di grande scala e cogliendo concrete opportunità di crescita professionale all'interno di una piattaforma europea in forte espansione. /p /li /ul pLa fascia retributiva indicata rappresenta il range previsto per il ruolo.
