Overview

As Director, Ideal Combine Engineering, you will lead the global IDEAL Combine engineering organization to deliver engineering excellence across the product lifecycle. You will shape the long-term technology roadmap, align priorities with AGCO’s harvesting strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive launches, enhancements, and quality improvements. You’ll manage a global team of managers and technical leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement while translating market needs into engineering priorities. This role offers the opportunity to influence cutting-edge harvesting technology at scale and contribute to AGCO’s sustainability and growth goals.

Responsabilità

- Develop and execute the long-term engineering strategy for the IDEAL Combine platform aligned with harvesting strategy
- Lead and develop a global engineering organization including managers and technical leaders
- Own engineering performance and delivery across the IDEAL Combine portfolio, including launches, lifecycle management, and quality compliance
- Drive engineering excellence through innovative technologies and process improvements
- Manage engineering investments, budgets,



resource planning, and prioritization to support growth
- Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Digital and other stakeholders
- Build organizational capability through succession planning and talent development
- Represent engineering at executive level, translating customer needs and market insights into priorities

Requisiti fondamentali

- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, product development, or technical organizations
- Proven track record leading complex product development programs and large-scale engineering teams
- Experience leading managers and global cross-functional teams in matrix environments
- Strong business acumen and capability in strategic planning and driving performance through engineering excellence
- Preferred: MSc or MBA, experience with agricultural machinery or harvesting equipment, and global product platform leadership
