Position Summary The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems.
The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance
Technician (LAMT) will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. This position will be based in Milan, Italy at Milan Linate Airport (LIML).
Duties &
- Responsibilities
- Perform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements
- Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install of replacement parts and testing aircraft system
- Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments
- Complete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assigned
- Must support all company policies and safety programs to include HSE regulations
- Interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Present a clean and neat work area
- Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customer
- Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned
Education &
- Experience
- Mandatory B1 or B1/B2 EASA License
- Good working knowledge of EASA Part 145
- Proven experience directly related to aviation
- Type ratings on business jets desired
Required Skills
- Must possess the legal ability to work in Italy
- Preferably, have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves
- Must speak English (B2+) and preferably Italian
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license
- The successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraints
- Must have the ability to multi-task within a team environment
- Possess proven inspection competencies
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude
Contract &
- Work Conditions
- Contract Type: Permanent contract, CCNL Trasporto Aereo. Level and salary to be determined based on experience, starting from 55k to 95k.
- Workplace Location: Piazzale Ovest, Linate Airport (MI).
