Discover the Role
The Accountant will support the Accounting team in delivering quality and timely services to the assigned client portfolio. The role performs a variety of routine accounting activities under close supervision, with a particular focus on bookkeeping activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical accounting support and administrative duties, such as entering sales and creditor invoices and processing bank transactions;
- Manage capital assets and accounts payable and receivable;
- Prepare primary accounting documents, if required;
- Maintain accounting files and records;
- Check account balances on a monthly basis and support the preparation of account analyses, if requested;
- Ensure accurate booking of all journal entries and accounting documents into the accounting system;
- Draft letters and emails to clients concerning accounting or administrative issues and submit them for review and approval by the Accounting Supervisor;
- Prepare routine correspondence and/or mailings.
Key Requirements
- English (working knowledge);
- Knowledge of the Profis system is considered an advantage;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook);
- High School Diploma and/or Degree in Economics;
- Up to 2 years of experience in similar organizations;
- Works in compliance with TMF procedures and related standards of work;
- Good client service skills;
- Responsible and organized;
- Good communication skills
