Overview In this role you will contribute to the hardwareDefinition for handheld scanners, under the Hardware Team Leader. You will design low-power analog and digital circuits and evaluate microprocessor architectures for image-processing devices. You’ll document specifications, perform design reviews, and ensure hardware standards are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
You will also support hardware lifecycle management and develop test solutions to prove hardware operation. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving hardware team with impact on product reliability and performance.
Responsabilità
- Design analog and digital circuits for low-power, battery-operated products
- Evaluate microprocessor architectures for image processing devices
- Document design specifications and implementation details
- Execute design reviews and uphold hardware design standards
- Collaborate with optical,
hardware and software engineers on system designs
- Maintain flexibility as specifications evolve
- Support hardware and manage component obsolescence
- Develop test hardware and procedures to validate hardware functionality
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3/4 years of experience in embedded HW design, low voltage power supply, interfaces
- ARM-based microprocessor knowledge and RTOS experience
- Electronics CAD skills; C/C++ knowledge
- Experience with power supply and battery charger design
- Analog design and 2D image sensors knowledge; LED illuminator preferred
- Linux basic knowledge
- Languages: Italian fluent, English fluent
