This role is for Ignition Italia Srl, an Exclusive Networks Company. /ph3About the role /h3pWe are looking for a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Engineer with a strong background in Privileged Access Management (PAM), identity security, and IT infrastructure to join our technical team and act as a trusted technical advisor for partners and customers. /ppThis role is key in supporting the sales organization by designing, presenting, and validating cybersecurity solutions, combining strong technical expertise with business understanding and excellent communication skills. /ph3Duties Responsibilities /h3pAs a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for: /pulliWorking closely with the sales team to support all pre‑sales activities, including customer meetings, solution presentations, and technical workshops. /liliUnderstanding customer and partner requirements and translating them into effective cybersecurity architectures aligned with Ingecom Ignition’s portfolio. /liliActing as a technical reference for partners and end customers throughout the pre‑sales cycle. /liliDesigning and delivering technical presentations, demos, and solution proposals. /liliManaging and executing Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, from planning to validation, in collaboration with resellers and end customers. /liliSupporting initial configuration, deployment, and validation of solutions during early project phases. /liliServing as a technical interface between vendors, partners, customers, and internal teams. /liliDelivering technical training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities (classroom, online, or on‑the‑job). /liliKeeping up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions.



/li /ulh3Qualifications Experience | Core Requirements /h3pProven experience in IT, preferably in pre‑sales, technical consulting, cybersecurity, or engineering roles. /ppStrong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: sales teams, vendors, partners, and customers. /ppExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. /ppGood command of English (B1–B2 level), for interaction with vendors and technical documentation. /ppWillingness to travel within Italy as required. /ph3Technical Skills Expertise /h3pHands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas: /pulliPrivileged Access Management (PAM) platforms and privileged account lifecycle management /liliPassword vaulting, credential rotation, discovery, and onboarding of privileged accounts /liliPrivileged session management, monitoring, recording, and auditing /liliLeast privilege, privilege elevation, application control, and endpoint privilege management /liliActive Directory, LDAP, identity management, authentication, and authorization concepts /liliNetworking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, VPN, SSH, RDP, SMB) /liliAdministration of Windows and Linux systems, services, and privileged accounts /liliIntegration of PAM solutions with SIEM,
