Role Description The Group Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Rome, responsible for managing group reservations and events from initial inquiry through post-stay follow-up. This role coordinates room blocks, meeting spaces, and catering needs, ensuring all group logistics are accurate and aligned with guest expectations.

The Group

Coordinator communicates daily with group organizers, internal departments, and external partners to confirm details, update schedules, and resolve issues promptly. Additional tasks include preparing proposals and contracts, maintaining booking records, monitoring deadlines,



and supporting the smooth delivery of group stays that reflect Cardo Roma’s unique brand experience.

Qualifications

- Experience in group coordination, event planning, or hotel operations, preferably in a hospitality or travel environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple group bookings and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, colleagues, and vendors in a clear, professional manner.
- Proficiency with reservation or event management systems, and solid skills in standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to anticipate needs, prevent issues, and respond quickly to changes.
- Ability to work on-site in Rome and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are an asset.
- Background in hospitality, tourism, or business is preferred; relevant education or equivalent experience will be considered.
