Job Purpose The CE EMEA Demand Planning & Order Management Specialist is responsible for leading the demand planning strategy, order portfolio governance, and inventory management processes across assigned EMEA product lines and markets. The role owns the end-to-end Demand Planning process, ensuring alignment between commercial demand, production capabilities, inventory objectives, and financial targets.
Acting as a key business leader, the position drives cross-functional alignment between Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance organizations, ensuring that market requirements are translated into executable and profitable business plans.
The role manages the monthly Demand Review process and supports the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) cycle, driving consensus forecasting, executive alignment, and strategic decision-making. Through data-driven analysis, scenario planning, and proactive risk management, the position contributes directly to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and working capital optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & S&OP;
- Lead EMEA Demand Planning, Demand Review and Consensus Forecast processes.
- Develop forecasts, scenario planning and alignment between commercial demand and production.
Order Portfolio & Production
- Manage order portfolio, production allocation and coordination between Markets and Plants.
- Monitor delivery performance and mitigate supply and capacity risks.
Inventory & Business Leadership
- Drive inventory and working capital strategies.
- Support business decisions through reporting,
stakeholder alignment, continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience Required
Experience
- Strong experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Logistics, Production Planning, or related business functions.
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional processes within an international environment.
- Previous people management experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Construction Equipment, Agricultural Equipment, Automotive, or Industrial Manufacturing environments is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of AOM and ePlan.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional processes in an international environment.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree is considered a plus.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Advanced Excel and SAP knowledge.
- Experience with Power BI, SAP IBP/APO, statistical forecasting, and AI-enabled forecasting tools is a plus.
- Fluent English and Italian.
Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is EUR 39.000 - 59.000 plus any applicable premio (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
