Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Bergamo. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support organizational programs and events.

The coordinator plans and delivers volunteer training sessions, provides guidance and feedback, and ensures volunteers understand their responsibilities and safety procedures. Daily tasks include maintaining volunteer records, communicating shifts and updates, resolving concerns, and collaborating with staff to identify volunteer needs. The role also involves organizing community outreach initiatives, building relationships with local organizations, and promoting volunteer opportunities to expand engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training to effectively recruit, organize, and develop volunteers.




- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build relationships, provide clear guidance, and address volunteer inquiries.
- Candidates should possess experience in Community Outreach to engage local partners, promote programs, and grow the volunteer base.
- Experience coordinating volunteers or community programs in nonprofit, public, or corporate settings is beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and schedules.
- Proficiency with basic office software and volunteer management or scheduling tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Bergamo and adapt to changing program needs.
