We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Maintenance Manager – Rooms to join our team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our guest rooms and associated facilities, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. You will work collaboratively with the maintenance team to deliver exceptional standards whilst maintaining comprehensive records and adhering to all health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to proactive maintenance practices. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described. Rooms Maintenance &, Preventive Maintenance - Lead and supervise all maintenance activities related to guest rooms, suites, villas, corridors, and related areas. - Ensure that guest rooms are maintained in excellent operational and aesthetic condition. - Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programmes for rooms and associated equipment. - Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and identify maintenance requirements, defects, and potential risks. - Ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance works. - Monitor the condition and functionality of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, sanitary fittings, doors, locks, furniture fixtures, and other room
