Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in risk management consulting? We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise Risk Services & Climate team at Risk Consulting through our Professional Graduate Programme. This role will be based in Milan for a hybrid role.
Risk Consulting is a management consulting firm that provides risk management services as part of Marsh Risk, a leader in insurance brokerage and head of the international Marsh Group, a group of expertise in strategic and management consulting, reinsurance, human capital, and investments.
We will count on you to:
You will have the opportunity to work on activities related to enterprise risks for industrial companies, providing expert advice to clients in the design, implementation, and improvement of approaches, methodologies, and tools aimed at integrating risk management into their internal processes.
You will support senior colleagues in designing and implementing risk management frameworks, including:
- Gap assessment
- Roadmap development
- Risk appetite frameworks/statements
- Risk governance
- Quantitative risk analysis
- Strategic plan risk analysis
- Development of key risk indicators
- Risk culture enhancement
- Risk reporting
- Ad hoc initiatives (e.g. operational and insurable risk assessments)
- Benchmarking and analysis of the organization’s ESG positioning
- Definition of the organization’s ESG strategy, including identification of objectives and targets aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Identification and assessment of sustainability-related risks and opportunities, with particular focus on climate change (quantitative deep dives)
- Calculation of GHG emissions and support in developing a methodology aimed at progressively reducing environmental impacts across the entire value chain
- Design of decarbonization plans for large industrial companies
- Screening of economic activities and strategic planning in line with the environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy
- Preparation of sustainability reports and non-financial disclosures in accordance with the main reference frameworks (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, Global Reporting Initiative, European Union Taxonomy)
You will also:
- Develop ad hoc projects aimed at optimizing clients’ internal controls and risk management systems
- Collaborate with colleagues from other teams (e.g. cyber, compliance, public entities) to implement cross-functional solutions and products for our clients
What you need to have:
- University Master Degree in Economics (Management, Finance, Risk Management, etc.).
- Language skills: Fluency in Italian and English
- IT skills: Advanced skills in using main IT tools, especially the Microsoft Office Package (Excel and PowerPoint)

What we offer:
- Tailored career progression: The programme starts with a 6-month internship. At the end of the 6-month internship, based on the tutors' evaluation, the internship can proceed through an apprenticeship contract offering a starting gross annual salary of €28.000. The National Collective Bargaining Agreement (NCBA) applied is 'Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi’.
