In this role you will lead cost management for complex projects in Italy, guiding budgets from inception through closeout. Responsabilità
- Oversee end-to-end cost management from budget development to project closeout
- Collaborate with project teams to estimate costs, track expenses, and produce financial reports
- Perform cost analyses and recommend budget optimization strategies
- Evaluate bids,
negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to cost controls
- Identify risks, propose mitigations, and monitor their implementation
- Foster relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive cost efficiencies
Requisiti fondamentali
- Strong English skills; Italian advantageous
- 5 years' experience in Hi Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial, Data Centres or related facilities for Cost Management; 10+ years for Senior Cost Manager
- Good knowledge of construction methods and procurement
- Experience with multiple estimating tools and applications (team management or use of such tools)
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and databases
- Collaborative, client- and stakeholder-focused, with strong organizational skills
- Proven cost/commercial management experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
