Context of the Position
As part of our strategic international expansion, JD Logistics is establishing its core infrastructure within the Italian market. This is a greenfield deployment phase, which requires our founding leadership team to manage high operational fluidity, establish local processes from the ground up, and translate centralized global capabilities into localized execution.
This position is designed for an agile,
data-driven transport professional who will take control of our real-time dispatch desk, ensuring that every vehicle movement across our Milan network is optimized for cost, timing, and capacity from Day One.
The Mission & Core Scope
- The Mission: Establish, lead, and run the 24/7 transportation dispatch and routing operation, ensuring seamless middle-mile execution between ports, the main fulfillment centers, and last-mile delivery stations.
- The Scope: You will directly manage the dispatching team and routing analysts, oversee real-time scheduling, coordinate carrier departures/arrivals, and solve immediate transit bottlenecks across the Milan regional network.
