Overview In this role you help shape Vodafone's connectivity by leading high- and low-level network design, optimization, and deployment. You will ensure end-to-end quality, standardize configurations, and oversee implementation across regions, including virtualization and SDN initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure a reliable, scalable network while aligning with cyber security and operational standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a global, diverse environment where your work directly supports innovative services for customers and the business.
Lead high- and low-level design activities and network optimization to improve end-to-end quality
Provide HLDs/LLDs, create templates, modularize configurations, and standardize implementation items
Implement virtualization and segregation concepts; Manage efficient implementation processes to reduce design/implementation costs and harmonize infrastructure
Own CAPEX budgeting: forecasting, planning, allocation, and approval administration
Oversee deployment to operations, conduct training,
and manage Change Management planning
ensure QA in design/implementation
Support testing, acceptance, auditing, and handover to Operations; manage test environments and test catalogs/plans
Drive knowledge transfer and skill development within the Network Implementation team
Ensure network documentation quality and alignment with Cyber Security architecture
Support data population and accuracy of Asset- and Change Management databases
Harmonize network standards across regions/local markets and drive SDN innovation
Foster collaboration with engineering, implementation, and operations teams across Vodafone
Share expertise to develop harmonized regional solutions and contribute to Cyber Security initiatives
Academic degree and/or at least 5 years' experience in IT supporting large heterogeneous infrastructures
Experience in project management
