We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Horticulturist to join our team at Constance Ephelia, a prestigious luxury resort in Seychelles. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our extensive gardens and landscaped grounds, ensuring they remain a stunning showcase of tropical beauty. You will oversee all horticultural operations, manage plant health and wellbeing, and contribute to the resort's commitment to environmental sustainability and aesthetic excellence. - Cultivate, propagate, and maintain a diverse range of tropical and subtropical plants, flowers, and trees - Design, plan,
and implement landscape projects that enhance the resort's natural environment and guest experience - Monitor plant health, diagnose and treat diseases, pests, and nutritional deficiencies using both conventional and organic methods - Manage irrigation systems and water conservation practices to ensure optimal plant growth whilst maintaining environmental responsibility - Conduct soil analysis and implement appropriate soil amendments and fertilisation programmes - Oversee the maintenance of garden beds, pathways, water features, and landscaped areas to the highest standards - Supervise and train horticultural staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and health and safety protocols - Maintain detailed records of plant inventory, maintenance schedules, and horticultural activities - Collaborate with resort management and other departments to align horticultural projects with organisational objectives - Implement sustainable and organic gardening practices to minimise env
