Overview In this role, you will contribute to the Global Markets team on the European Government Bonds Trading Desk in Milan, supporting market making and liquidity provision in Core and Semi-Core sovereigns. You will work closely with Sales, Research and Trading to identify opportunities and manage risk within defined limits, helping grow the desk's franchise in European rates markets. The role combines pricing, risk management, and platform knowledge to deliver competitive client outcomes and market impact. This is an opportunity to shape trading strategies in a leading Italian banking group with a focus on sustainable growth and innovation.

Responsabilità
- Perform market making on Core and Semi-Core European government bonds
- Provide competitive pricing and liquidity to clients
- Manage risk exposure and inventory within defined limits
- Identify trading opportunities via market and relative value analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, Research and Trading to support business growth
Requisiti fondamentali
- 6–8 years of experience in Rates Trading
- knowledge of European government bond markets and interest rate products
- pricing and risk management capabilities
- experience with trading and risk management platforms
- understanding of macroeconomic rate drivers
- degree in finance, economics or quantitative field
- English level B2 or above
- collaboration with cross-functional teams
- strong communication and teamwork
- ability to work under pressure and in fast-moving markets
