Overview As Platform Engineer at BIP Red in Milan, you help design and scale secure, developer-friendly cloud platforms. You'll build and evolve modern cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, partnering with software engineers to improve delivery and reliability. You will leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate provisioning and development, while mentoring juniors and shaping our engineering standards. This role blends hands-on platform work with cross-team collaboration to drive measurable growth.

Design, build and evolve cloud-native platforms for enterprise apps
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows

DevOps mindset with a focus on automation and software delivery
~3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with software development background
~ CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins or equivalents
~ Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
~ Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
~ Docker and Kubernetes experience including production deployments
~ Backend development skills in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Java (Spring Boot)
~ Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini or similar)
~ Linux proficiency
~ Proficient written and spoken English
