Job Overview Do you have a talent for interacting with customers on behalf of a great organization through various support channels (email, Live Chat, or calls)? Do you enjoy being a frontline contact? If yes, this is your opportunity to join a world‐leading coating supplier as our new Customer Care Representative at Hempel. In this role you will handle complaints, build strategies for improving the overall customer experience and fostering loyalty. You will advise customers on processing orders, product shortages, expected delivery dates, and price changes. You will play a key role in solving customers' queries and support our sales team to ensure efficient and flawless service.
Key Responsibilities Receive and process orders and requests from customers
Collect and analyze customer feedback
Work with clients and other departments to ensure orders are processed correctly
Resolve issues, inquiries, orders, service needs and complaints, or direct them to sales representatives or technical service areas
Provide back‐office support to the Sales Department as per the responsibility framework
Provide information to customers regarding the status of orders, claims and technical issues
Communicate with other Hempel offices worldwide as required for order placement and supply
Handle external invoicing and archive records
Qualifications Experience in customer service or a related activity
Knowledge of the paint sector is valuable but not required
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
Experience using ERP systems
Understanding of the life cycle of a purchase order placement, from start to finish
Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a lively customer‐care environment
Self‐motivated and able to follow best practices in sales processes
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Strong communication skills – verbal and written – in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus)
