General Services Maintenance Engineer

Overview In this role you help ensure safe, reliable operation of the site’s non-manufacturing infrastructure within a leading semiconductor company. You will manage building services, fire protection, water systems, and preventive maintenance, coordinating with internal teams and external providers. Your work supports compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility. This is a hands-on, collaborative role with a clear impact on site reliability and energy efficiency.
Responsabilità
- Oversee testing, certification and preventive maintenance of fire detection, alarm, and automatic fire suppression systems
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, maintain documentation, support inspections and audits
- Manage maintenance, dosing and testing of domestic and drinking water systems, aligned with health and anti-legionella requirements
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of office lighting, electrical distribution, plumbing, civil infrastructure, and building services
- Support space management activities including relocations, layout changes,



and furniture/equipment logistics
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors to ensure safe, efficient maintenance per standards
- Develop, track, and execute preventive maintenance schedules via CMMS
- Support internal technicians and external contractors with a collaborative coaching approach
- Ensure maintenance activities follow RAMS and Permit-to-Work procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, focusing on energy efficiency, water reduction, and maintenance process optimization

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, building services, fire protection systems, utilities, or technical project management is advantageous
