ph3Job Description /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced Technical Design Manager to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary data centre team. This role is pivotal in leading the design and delivery of complex hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre projects in Europe in collaboration with our EU Centers of Excellence. You will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring technical excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships. /p pThis is a client-facing, hands‑on delivery role with opportunity for career progression, working on high-profile, fast-paced projects with global clients. /p pAs part of this role, you will be based in Milan with occasional travels across our UKI + European offices for project related purposes. /p pThe ideal candidate has a strong background in multidisciplinary design management with extensive experience in hyperscale or colocation data centres and critical facilities. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pHere’s what you’ll do: /p ul liLead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams (Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Security, Fire Protection, ICT, BMS/EPMS). /li liOversee all phases of data centre projects from site due diligence, campus planning, conceptual/schematic/detailed design, through to construction documentation. /li liEnsure timely delivery of high‑quality design outputs that meet client requirements and project timelines. /li liIdentify and mitigate project risks early, providing innovative and practical solutions. /li liSupport Project Managers and Project Directors on project’s commercial and contractual governance, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. /li liPresent to clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery output. /li liCollaborate with design teams and local and international delivery teams to ensure localization and permitting compliance.
