Si assicuri di leggere la descrizione completa qui sotto. /p pThe CIM Competence Center is the national reference hub for technology transfer and for the dissemination of skills related to the manufacturing and service industries. /p pCIM is a network composed of Politecnico di Torino and the University of Turin, together with 22 partner companies, making the expertise of industrial leaders available to companies that want to innovate and remain highly competitive in the market. /p pCIM provides specialized services on enabling digital technologies for Manufacturing 4.0 and offers strategic and operational support for industrial development through the dissemination of services and advanced training courses for company managers. /p h3Job description /h3 pThe Junior Process Simulation Engineer will join CIM's technical team and contribute to the modelling and optimization of production and logistics processes. The position is open to recent graduates and junior professionals with up to three years of experience. /p h3Main activities /h3 ul liDevelop discrete-event simulation models for production, logistics, and material-handling processes. /li liCollect and analyse process data to build, calibrate, and validate simulation models. /li liUse Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation as the main modelling platform. /li liEvaluate alternative scenarios involving layouts, capacity, resources, material flows, and operating policies, also considering Lean Manufacturing and World Class Manufacturing principles. /li liIdentify bottlenecks and performance improvements, translating results into clear technical recommendations. /li liPrepare model documentation and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and technology partners. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree in management, Mechanical, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. /li liInterest in process simulation, manufacturing systems, logistics, and digital twin technologies.
/li liGood analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liAbility to interpret process data, production flows, layouts, and operational requirements. /li liGood communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn. /li liProficiency in Italian and a good knowledge of English. /li liExcellent knowledge of Italian, both written and spoken. /li liGood knowledge of English, both written and spoken. /li liExcellent proficiency with the main office automation tools. /li /ul h3Optional qualifications /h3 ul liAcademic or professional experience with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. /li liPrevious academic or professional experience with similar process-simulation software, such as DELMIA, AnyLogic, FlexSim, Simio, Arena, WITNESS, or other discrete-event simulation platforms. /li liKnowledge of manufacturing, warehousing, intralogistics, or material-handling systems, together with familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), 5S, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, or continuous-improvement methods. /li liBasic programming data-analysis skills. /li liExperience in technological innovation and/or technology transfer. /li liEnabling digital technologies for industry. /li liKnowledge of IT and OT infrastructures. /li liProject management skills. /li liPrevious experience in delivering specialized training. /li liKnowledge of public funding mechanisms at local, national and European level. /li /ul h3Location /h3 pTurin office or Cuneo office. /p h3Experience /h3 pThe selection is open to profiles with different levels of seniority, including recent graduates and professionals with consolidated experience. Professional experience relevant to the role, technical skills possessed, and the level of autonomy and responsibility developed will be assessed.
/p h3Compensation and contract type /h3 pExpected gross annual salary range for the position: €28,000–€42,000.
