Headquartered in Genoa and supported by an international partner network, we assist shipowners, operators, and shipyards with diagnostics, maintenance, calibration, crew training, commissioning, and retrofit projects.Our goal is to ensure regulatory compliance, reliable operation, and long-term asset value through sustainable and dependable technical solutions.The RoleWe are looking for a full-time Field Service Engineer to join our operational team in Genoa. The position includes hybrid office/field work and frequent travel in Italy and abroad, including assignments aboard cargo and passenger vessels.The successful candidate will provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical support for marine environmental systems, including:Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (Scrubbers)Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systemsBallast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS)Gas analysers, water-analysis equipment, and related instrumentationKey responsibilities include diagnosing electrical, electronic, automation, mechanical, and fluid-system issues; performing calibrationsand compliance checks; supporting vessel crewsand customers; preparing accurate service reports; and collaborating with customer-service and project teams on retrofit and improvement projects.QualificationsThe ideal candidate has experience in field service, commissioning, troubleshooting,
or preventive maintenance of industrial or marine equipment.Requirements include:Technical diploma or degree in electrical, electronic, mechatronic, automation, mechanical, or naval engineering.Good knowledge of electrical systems, automation, instrumentation, measurement equipment, electrical drawings, and P&IDs.Strong; troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in the field.Previous experience in the marine sector is preferred; relevant industrial-plant experience will also be considered.Experience with Scrubbers, SCR, BWTS, gas analysers, or environmental monitoring systems is an advantage.Good written and spoken technical English.Strong customer-service attitude and ability to communicate effectively with international customers and onboard personnel.Availability for frequent national and international travel.Commitment to safety, quality, accuracy, and teamwork.What We Offerpermanent employment. contract under the Italian Metalworking Collective AgreementCompensation package based on experience, including travel allowances.Continuous technical training on marine environmental systems and related technologies.The opportunity to work on international projects in a growing company focused on sustainable marine solutions.Initial fixed-term contract under the Italian Metalworking Collective Agreement, with a concrete opportunity for permanent employment.Compensation package based on experience, including travel allowances.Continuous technical training on marine environmental systems and related technologies.The opportunity to work on international projects in a growing company focused on sustainable marine solutions.
